For GIRLS and BOYS. This camp is for kids interested in the magic of forces. Learn how to use forces to amaze family and friends with seemingly magical artifacts that you construct and keep. Levitate a paper clip, defy gravity, make a dozen eggs stick to the corner of a table, make a diver go up and down in a bottle, and more. Harness energy and forces to make water go upside down in a cup without spilling. Learn the science behind everything you make. Complete this camp with an understanding of gravitational, magnetic, elastic, thermodynamic, and chemical energy. Also gain an understanding of buoyancy, friction, simple machines, and more. The force will be with you, as every kid participates and all are successful.
This is the ESSENCE of hands-on science. Your teacher is Mr. Baker, life-long scientist and active science educator. He teaches the way he loved to learn as a kid: by going outside and actually digging into the subject.
